Moving Parts

Happy Halloween!

I love this holiday so, so much. In my personal spiritual practice, it marks a day of letting go, making space, and honoring what and who has come before. I spend the day thinking of lost loved ones and honoring my ancestors and writing out the many ways I have fallen short of my own expectations so that I can actively choose to let them go. I release myself from the burdens of anger and grudge, and seek growth through forgiveness and compassion.  It’s a lot, but I always feel like I am left with a lightness and so much space going into the end of the year.

It generally marks a time of slowing down for me, but not this year. This year is full of moving parts and I have been surprised to find myself energized by the activity rather than exhausted by it. I can’t help but feel that that energy is a sign that these projects and commitments are right where I should be right now. Good work, right work, even when it’s not related to the work we do for pay, has a power and momentum all its own.

Some of those exciting moving parts are:

  • The Uncrazy 2018 Challenge kicks off in just a few days and I am STOKED. We have more than 80 people signed up as of this morning and more are joining the community each day. The breadth of experiences and perspectives of everyone who has signed up is sure to give the Challenge so much more depth that I could offer as a single voice and I just can’t wait to get underway. It’s 100% free and is intended to take less than an hour a week, so if you haven’t joined me yet, come on over and get signed up here!!

  • There will be some pretty significant website changes happening over the next few weeks, and I’m excited to finally get to the much overdue updates that will make this space far more useful to you! I’m expanding my coaching offerings and will be opening spaces in December for a small group program that will begin in January, so look for that information by the beginning of next month!

  • Speaking of websites, much of the back-end logistics for the new Cindy Giovagnoli Portraits site are wrapping up and I’m planning an early December launch! But while we wait to get that finished, be sure to follow its new Instagram and Facebook accounts for updates!

Change and shifting and transitioning are never easy. Letting go is even harder. But more often than not, when we finally pry our fingers back from their death grip on the status quo, we open up to possibilities that we hadn’t truly realized were available to us.

Have a wonderful Halloween and may your be full of your own opportunity to let go and to honor what and who have made you who you are today.

A few pics from a hike we did just before the snow flew…we are now covered in a blanket of white here in Anchorage and I think it’s possible that we’ve seen the last of the grass for the year!
